Terms of Use

By using Tokki Earn you agree to these terms. They're meant to be readable, not lawyer-bait.

The app

• Tokki Earn is a free macOS app — no purchase, no subscription.
• Earning is opt-in and off by default. Turn it off anytime and your original Claude Code status line is restored exactly.
• The app adds one sponsored line to your status bar. It never reads or modifies your code, prompts, or conversations.

The marketplace & the 50% revenue share

• Tokki Earn is an advertising marketplace: sponsors and advertisers pay for placements; developers who opt in serve them and receive a revenue share.
• You keep 50% of the sponsor revenue from impressions attributed to your device — a standard advertising revenue share.
• Earnings are real money, not store credit. Cash out once your balance passes the $10 minimum.
• An account (verified email) is required to earn and cash out — it's how we pay you and keep the program fair.
• Per-impression rates can change as sponsor demand changes, and we may pause the program — but your accrued balance always remains yours.

Fair play

Earnings come from genuine use while you code — we never pay for or encourage clicking ads. Faking, automating, or inflating impressions (multiple fake installs, scripted activity, and the like) gets a balance voided and the account closed. The server is the source of truth for what counts as a billable impression.

Payouts & taxes

Cash-outs are sent via the payout options shown in-app as they roll out. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn — depending on where you live we may need tax details from you above certain yearly amounts.

Status

The macOS app is pre-launch ("coming soon"). Anything on this site about earnings is illustrative until the program is live.
