Privacy Policy

Tokki Earn is a native macOS app built privacy-first. It adds one sponsored line to your Claude Code status bar — it never reads your code, prompts, or conversations. There is no telemetry on your work and no third-party analytics SDK in the app.

What never leaves your Mac

Your files, your projects, and everything you type into Claude Code. Tokki Earn only writes the status-line setting (and backs up your original so it restores byte-for-byte when you turn Earn off). It has no access to what you're working on.

What we collect — only if you opt in to earning

• Your account email— used to sign you in and pay you. Earning requires an account; browsing the app doesn't.
• An anonymous device id — links your install to your account so earnings are credited to you and farming is prevented.
• Impression counts — how often the sponsored line was shown, so your revenue share can be calculated. Counts only; never the content around them.
• Payout details — shared by you only when you cash out, used only to send your money.

Sponsored content

The app fetches the current sponsor line from our server. Sponsors never receive anything about you or your machine — they only get aggregate impression totals.

Off by default, reversible always

Earn mode is off until you turn it on. Switch it off and the sponsored line is removed and your original status bar is restored exactly. You can delete your account and its data anytime by emailing us.
